Maple Grove Families,
We are so excited to welcome our students for the first day of school tomorrow! Here are a few reminders to help make the morning go as smoothly as possible:
Doors open at 8:10 a.m. School begins at 8:30 a.m., and the doors will close at that time.
Attached you will find important reminders about car rider drop-off and pick-up procedures. Please take a few minutes to review them before tomorrow.
As a reminder, parents will not be able to enter the building with students on the first day. We know those first-day goodbyes can be tough! We will have plenty of Maple Grove staff members at each entrance ready to welcome students and help them find their classrooms.
Tonight, please practice having your child say their first and last name and their teacher’s name. Staff members may ask them for this information so we can make sure they get exactly where they need to go.
Please also talk with your child about breakfast and whether they should go to the cafeteria for breakfast at school or if they will be eating at home. This will help them know where to go when they arrive.
We can’t wait to see our Maple Grove students tomorrow and begin a great school year together! We will have lots of smiling faces ready to help make their first morning a great one!

We are excited to begin our i-Ready testing next week! Our students will be taking the Math assessment from April 27–May 1 and the Reading assessment from May 4–May 8.
These assessments help us better understand your child’s progress and guide our instruction to support their growth. We encourage all students to do their very best and show what they know!
You can help your child feel confident and prepared by:
Ensuring they get a good night’s rest
Arriving at school on time each day
Eating a healthy breakfast
