THIS Saturday, September 30th, the district Diversity and Equity in Education Committee, in collaboration with UCM and WMMC, will host the first Community Connection Fair at the Sterling/Middle School stadium. We have at least 30 tables/booths and performances from the community that will be in attendance. This event was refashioned to bring back the beloved Multicultural Nights the district used to have but with some changes. We thought it would be encouraging to open up the event to various organizations that serve the community as well. The hope behind this carnival-like event is to show that regardless of our visible differences, one place we all come together is in the school district.
Race, color, background, advantaged and disadvantaged, etc... We all learn together so let's grow together.
